IDA History

IDA is a limited liability company established in 2006 as an independent management company owned and operated by North View Dental in North Ogden, Utah, where the original founders have practiced since 1984. Dr. J. Reed Mackley, original founder of North View Dental, began practicing in 1962 and provided many of the original insights to practice growth strategy and management models we use today.

As an association of independent dental practitioners, IDA provides added value to dentists with years of dedicated dental practice experience, while also offering many services designed for new dentists who are fresh out of dental school. IDA has always maintained a strong administrative support for the independent dentists, many of whom are re-investing and growing with the company. Since 2006, IDA continues to build and open new practices and is constantly analyzing the next growth area.
