As an independent practice association, the IDA is a cluster of small group practices, ranging from 2 to 3 to as many as 7 to 8 dentists in a single location. With a mixture of associates, junior partners and full partners, we have the experience to develop and assist practices regardless of their growth stage. IDA starts scratch practices as well as acquires existing practices. Directly out of dental school, our dentists enjoy a secure and steady income. Our network dentists enjoy income levels 15 - 20% higher than comparable dentists in our regional market place. As your practice grows, you may have the opportunity to become involved in future dental start-ups, allowing you control of your financial future.

Our practice management model provides a needed competitive edge in today’s market. As a part of IDA, each dentist has the ability to manage all of the clinical decisions, but is supported by the administrative arm of our network, which provides payroll, accounting, marketing, shared facilities, supply negotiations, and dental insurance rates that improve your level of compensation.

We offer excellent benefits! Because of the size of our network, you are able to participate in a group medical insurance plan, which provides premium health insurability for you, with an additional cost for your family. Also, as a part of our economy of scale, we have negotiated with multiple dental insurance companies in an effort to maximize compensation for the dentists in the network. IDA also provides strong bargaining power in the area of supply and equipment purchasing, which allows for an increased cost savings over working with the supplier as an independent practice.

Our goal is to develop a long-term relationship with our associates, where you can maximize career opportunities, flexibility, independence and profitability. Many of our associates have had the opportunity to buy in as equity holding partners after two to three years, as well as buying into the physical building in which they work. With IDA, you have the advantage of purchasing new dental equipment through our contracted vendors. Network members have the opportunity to invest in practices and buildings throughout the network. We have an aggressive growth strategy, and can provide capital funding for new dental practices. We are currently studying the feasibility of creating a dental lab for network members with all the newest laboratory technology, which will provide an increased value of quality.

We share a practice management model that has worked well over the last thirty years. Our model shortens the learning curve with our younger member dentists.
